Blu & Exile who brought the modern classic “Below The Heavens” comes the first official release in anticipation of their upcoming follow up untitled “Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them”, with their “Maybe One Day” EP.
The extended play or EP is a 4 cut joint that strikes hard with Blu lyricism and emotional vibrance shines on “A Man” alongside Exile who produces all the cuts and proves how smooth and dope his tracks can be.
Blu & Exile work as a team on this ep and even on their upcoming album as far as that is concerned its proven in tracks like “Cent from Heaven”, “Maybe One Day” and “Iam Jean” a story telling track in which Blu narated a smooth scathing track at the same time you don’t hear Blu do a lot of storytelling tracks but when he does they’re always great.
Overall this is a solid 4 out of 5, and showcases within it a strong EP and just glimmer into what “Give Me My Flowers…” is gonna sound like and if this EP proves anything its gonna be another notched classic on Blu & Exile belt, and Blu is becoming a force behind the mic as well.
