Erykah Badu – Phone Down
Erykah Badu delivers another song off her upcoming mixtape “But You Caint Use My Phone.” This one titled Phone Down. Her album drops on Thanksgiving. Not sure if she purposley dumbed this shit down for all the Future listeners out here, but off my first listen…I’m like what the fk is this… makes me want to put my phone down and not listen to this shit. Maybe this is a joke, before the actual release.
I bet her fans love her so much, they’ll say this is dope and accept it. Maybe I have to listen to it a few more times, for it to grow on me. I know one thing, doesn’t sound anything like Erykah Badu.
