“Spirit Detective 2” is a homage to one of SkyBlew’s favorite anime, Yu Yu Hakusho! He flipped the whole concept… SkyBlew calls himself a spirit detective in this world because he says it’s a “battle for your soul” out here and he represents the light in a dark place. Most of SkyBlew’s music is more than just words on a beat, it’s spiritual, so this song is a perfect example. Produced by one of SkyBlew’s go to producers, Scottie Royal.
